This past week we spent time in upstate NY playing in the snow – tubing, skating, and freezing our noses off. But it was all much fun! Tomorrow, the 3 year old class in our co-op will be talking about winter and snow. Here are a few reader ideas that you may enjoy to go along with a winter theme.
The Rambling Adventures of a Stay at Home Mom shared a cute snowman activity using the circle reinforcer stickers – love it!
Melissa from The Joys of Home Educating shared some fun snowflakes her son designed using their Magna Tiles.
Criss Cross Applesauce Learning shared a fun snowman game she used with her children to work on number recognition {free printable!!}.
Last year we made these fun Borax snowflakes, and they are something we’re going to make again. All of the kids loved them and it was a great science lesson too!
If you’re looking for some winter fun printables, pull out your copy of the book The Snowy Day by Ezra Keats and grab these printables to go along.
That’s it for this week! Link up your learning fun and ideas below!
