Encouragement and learning ideas are two of my passions and I LOVE that you all are sharing both during the Preschool and Kindergarten Community linkup times each week. While being inspired is important for teaching, encouragement is needed so very much for each of us. Be sure to look through the links today too – stop by, read a few links, and encourage each other with comments! Have a great week!
Number Line Activity
Learning place value? Here’s a great gross motor version from Hands on As We Grow that will get your kids hopping and brains working on their number line and place values.
Noodle Box Counting
Using leftover carryout boxes, An Idea on a Tuesday pulled together this fun fine motor and math activity for Noodle Box Counting – doesn’t it look like noodles? Love it!
Preschool Adventure Boxes
Did you see that Little Passports now has a PRESCHOOL Adventure Box? The new monthly packets are geared specifically toward 3-5 year olds. Our kids have loved their global adventures, and if they are anything like those, these will be fabulous!
50+ Thanksgiving Craft Ideas
Here are 50+ Thanksgiving craft ideas that you can work on this week – and decorate your table with when company comes. Some cute ideas in this roundup from Best Toys For Toddlers.
Scarecrow Letter Patches
The scarecrow letter patch game from Growing Book by Book is a fun (and recycling) way to work on letter recognition with your kids.
Thanksgiving Even/Odd Number Sort
Use the Thanksgiving Number Sort cards to have your child work on sequencing numbers from 1 to 20 or have your child sort the numbers by odd or even. If 20 numbers is too many, choose a handful of numbers and record them on the included mat {great handwriting practice as well}.
That’s it for this week. Be sure to leave a link below and visit another site that linked up this week!
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board
Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!

Thanks so much for the feature this week!
Thank you so much for featuring my Noodle Box Counting activity. See you next week!
I can’t find where to link up.
Natasha – thanks for letting me know. I did put the coding in there, but it somehow disappeared. Should be showing up now. :)
For some reason it didn’t show up when browsing with Safari, but was fine in Chrome.
Glad to have found you! Following your board. Thanks for hosting!
Thank you for a feature! :)
