It’s another fun week of learning ideas! Last week there were some great ideas linked up to the Preschool and Kindergarten Community linkup, and a few of them are featured below. While being inspired is important for teaching, encouragement is needed so very much for each of us. Be sure to look through the links today too – stop by, read a few links, and encourage each other with comments.
Soda Bottle Flower Craft
If the cold weather has you down, cheer up your home with these plastic bottle flowers. A Little Pinch of Perfect shares a fun tutorial that would make a great Valentine’s Day gift.
Dinosaur Activities
Digging for dinosaur bones is always fun – for boys or girls! Brain Power Boy shares nine dinosaur activities to bring some hands-on fun to your dinosaur adventure.
DIY Lego Game
Lego bricks abound in our house. This DIY Lego game would be so easy to make (and play again and again) with our kids. Love the idea and the simplicity of it from There’s Just One Mommy.
Valentine’s Day Sudoku Puzzles
Instead of numbered Sudoku puzzles, try these fun Valentine’s Day themed Sudoku puzzle this week.
That’s a quick peek at last week – can’t wait to see what you all have been up to!
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board
Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!

LOVE the DIY Lego game!
Me too – we definitely have enough Legos around to do it!
Me too – we’re going to have to make one. We definitely have LEGOs! :)
Thank you for hosting such a resourceful link up! Have a great Friday! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
thanks for being a part, Ashleigh!
thanks for being a part, Ashleigh.
That Lego game is super adorable!! I wonder how I could work something like that into some second grade fun :-)
We’ll have to chat about that – I’m definitely wanting to try it too!
