Being offline this past week has been very nice. It’s been non-stop for the most part and there are some exhausted kiddos {and adults}, but everyone is having lots of fun.
A highlight of our little boy’s week? A first time visit to a full-fledged LEGO store. Being able to play with LEGO bricks and race cars with others was so much fun!
There was also the whole Star Wars attraction that made many children happy. Repeatedly.
We may only be in Florida, but seeing small snippets of different world cultures {through Epcot} has been fun as well.
And although I had every intention of visiting your blogs this past week…time slipped away from me! I am very certain there were some fabulous links last week {and there will be as many this week}, so please be sure to visit a few of the others linking up this week and leave them a comment.
Have a FABULOUS weekend!!

Loved seeing all of your instagram photos from the trip! It definitely looked like a great trip!
We have SO many pictures!! :) I did great downloading them the first two days and just pulled the rest of them off last night – yikes!!
Oh, the fun of being on holiday! I’ve got to wait (impatiently) until September for ours. Glad you’re having such a wonderful time!
Claire – You all will have SO much fun!! :) If you haven’t been before {and not that I’m an expert}, feel free to email me. I’d be happy to share some tips with you from our trip! :)
We’re not going to Disney (boo!) but we are staying in a tent in granny and granddads back garden in Ireland for a week!! We used to live in Ireland so it will be great to see friends and family, no Disney characters though!
It’s obviously agreed with you, Jolanthe. You sound incredibly relaxed and cheery!!
Im a recent subscriber and have enjoyed reading your posts as I begin my homeschooling journey. But Im just wondering if your recent posts are for a Disney promotional or just about plain ol’ family fun? Since i dont know you personally, but have read your statement of faith im going to guess the latter?
We’ve been saving for a trip to Disney for some time now and were blessed to go a little earlier {our trip was planned for this fall}. I attended a conference at Disney for the first few days of our trip and we chose to extend our stay for the week after the conference – specifically for a family vacation. Both parts of our trip have been wonderful, and the kids are already hoping we can return for a visit in the years to come. :)
On my blog, I typically share what we are doing – and this vacation is all a part of our family life. If we’re traveling or take a field trip, I blog about it {grins}. I will say that the different worlds at Epcot were MUCH fun, especially since the kids were able to tie in much of our history lessons this past year to several of the countries {yay!}. You have to love that!
I hope that helps answer your question some.
So glad you guys are having fun!! What a wonderful trip!
