They are Fixed!!

Thanks so much to Stephanie for letting me known that the codes/images weren’t working right for the buttons you all can grab and link back here!

I have the problem fixed {apparently the main button for my blog was showing up as the one for the Preschool Corner.}.

Labor Day Special!

The Old Schoolhouse Magazine is having a Labor Day special on a 1 year subscription to their magazine.

$7.95 for the year ~ subscribe or renew to the print or digital edition. Subscriptions start with the fall issue and they are limiting it to the first 2,000 people who click through!

My subscription lapsed after the summer issue, so I’m heading over right now to start it up again! If you already have a subscription, this would be a great time to buy a gift subscription for a friend!

A HUGE Thank You

I know that it’s been a few weeks since the Curriculum Clean-Out ended but I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you for helping to make it such a wonderful success!!

I’m thinking this may be something that we do again! :) Keep your eyes out for a little poll to be posted soon.

I just realized the other day {because I am still mailing off one of my packages…ahem} that I never let you all know how much I appreciated all you did to help out by blogging, tweeting and passing the word along to your friends.

You all are amazing!!

Celebrating with Carisa!

Carisa at 1+1+1=1 has become a great blog friend of mine over the last bit and right now she is celebrating her blog reaching 1,000 subscribers. If you’ve never visited her blog, be sure to stop by and say hi. She is celebrating her milestone with some great giveaways soon that you won’t want to miss!

Meanwhile, if you are stopping by as part of the ‘introduce yourself’ tour, here is a little bit about me:

My name is:
Jolanthe ~ are you sitting there wondering how to pronounce that? Yo-lawn-tha

I have:
a wonderful husband, Rick and 4 great kiddos ~ Laurianna (8), McKenna (6), Zachary (4), and Kaleb (2)

I am:
always busy, never tire of hearing my kids laugh, never sure of what my 4-year-old will do next, a much-behind scrapbooker, and at this point up too late again…

The name of my blog is:
Homeschool Creations & No Ordinary Moments

I blog about:
No Ordinary Moments is where the ‘me’ comes out and I share about all the crazy things that happen in our house. Homeschool Creations is more focused on our homeschooling life and what we’re doing in that realm.

I have been reading at 1+1+1=1:
Hmmmm….uncertain on that, but it has been awhile now.

This is my first time commenting on 1+1+1=1:
Umm….no. Sadly, Carisa probably sees more email from me than is necessary. :)

My favorite Bible verse:
Lately it has been Zechariah 4:10 – “Do not despise these small beginnings.” I like the verse enough that I even blogged about it. :)

I participate in Tot School:
Well, technically that would be Kaleb that does more of the participating, but yes, I do!

Blogging Tip Questions???

Several of you have wanted to know some more blogging tips – and while I can’t promise miracles {or all the answers}, I might be able to tell you something. Or at least point you in the right direction.

So….ask away!
