Why are you selling this collection so cheap?
The authors are all homeschool moms like you who have just bought a multitude of school supplies and curriculum for the new academic year. They know that money can be tight at this time of the year. That’s why each of the authors wants to give back to the homeschool community with this ridiculously discounted eBook Omnibus.
Is there any other information I need to know before purchasing?
Yes, the download links for the eBooks will be valid for only 2 weeks. You must be sure to download all files before September 8th. Please remember to back up your files as well. iHN and the authors cannot send you copies of eBooks that have been deleted. Each of the eBooks in the Omnibus is copyrighted by the original author. Your purchase does not entitle you to share the files or upload them anywhere online where others can access them. For troubleshooting help, please be sure to check the FAQ page at iHN and contact iHN directly as individual contributors cannot help you with the downloads.
Do you know if this is acceptable? Several of the titles in this package I already own. If I were to purchase the package, and thus own 2 copies of some titles, could I give 1 copy away? I don’t want to break any copyright rules, but it seems like that should be OK.
Pretty sure due to copyright restrictions that wouldn’t be ok {I know when I purchase other ebooks online from companies that it specifically says you cannot share or sell them when you are finished} and this would fall under the same category even if you already own them. Truthfully, this is such a great deal that I would just let your friends know! :)
Jolanthe
Thanks. I was hoping to give the duplicates as gifts if it were allowable. I know it’s a great price, just seems that if I’ve paid for 2 copies I should be able to give one away.
Kelly, I will send you a link in just a bit for the technical stuff. Just hold tight! There is a lot of traffic right now and the files are huge, so download time is slower (especially based on your internet speed). I am thankful we have several weeks to download – I am taking my time! :)
Wow, what a great deal. I owe 3 of the books already but was planning on purchase 3 of the titles within the next year, maybe by next year but with the sale I think i’ll just go ahead and get them. It’s so great! Thanks for this.
There are many that I’m excited to get as well!! I already have several of them, but it’s still a great deal even though I have them. :)
I purchased this package this morning and cannot download any of the files from Confessions of a Homeschooler. I don’t know who to contact since there was no info given when you have technical difficulties. I have posted a message on Erica’s blog, one on the iHomeschool Network facebook page and this one. Any suggestions for what could be going wrong?

Here’s the page to the FAQ and troubleshooting:

The servers have been working hard, but with a lot of people downloading the files {and several of the zip files are rather large}, it may take a little longer. I am working my way down the list and trying to find some quiet times online {when there aren’t as many people} so that I can download them. Of course it doesn’t help that my kids are streaming Netflix at the moment either…. ha!
I had the same issue. I was able to download the file, but they won’t open. I too left a message on Erica’s (Confessions of a Homeschooler) blog. This is very frustrating, because over half the files are hers. If the problem can’t be fixed, then I want a refund.
Ladies, please be sure to check the link that I shared earlier. IHNis working on rerouting some of the files, so please be patient while they work it out. This is a wonderful deal and any problems should be addressed to iHN, not the individual authors, since we are not hosting the files. We appreciate your understanding. :)

Do you know which download link your planner is in? I REALLY would like to get that one downloaded so I can get started using it. I am so excited to open it but the files are taking sooo long to download and the other ones I really don’t need right now. Thanks so much for the help!
I was just wondering the same thing! :) I started at the bottom of the list, but haven’t found it yet.

Downloading all the books now! Why aren’t I asleep at this time of night though?!
That’s a great question! Hopefully you aren’t still up!
I decided to unzip any file that wasn’t from “Confessions of a Homeschooler”, which worked perfectly. I then deleted all of the other files and have started the download process again. So far, I’ve only downloaded file #2. But this time it opened and I was able to unzip that one also. So, hopefully whatever issue was going on with Erica’s files has been fixed. I will just have to wait and see how the other files behave. I think the trick is to not download too many at one time. Take it slowly.
I’ve taken my time too and only downloaded them one at a time. We have s.l.o.w. internet speed anyway {good ol’ Verizon}, so I’ve tried to find lull times to download them. I’ve saved Erica’s files for last too. :)
I can’t seem to purchase it!? It just spins and gives me a blank screen when I click Pay with PayPal! Can anyone help?
