Hi Jolanthe….just wondering if the math curriculum you were speaking of was RightStart. We’re having such a hard time with it. Now that I’ve started my son on the Critical Thinking Math books he LOVES math. He’s 5. Just wondering what your experience was….
We had been using Abeka with the older two and now they are both using
Teaching Textbooks {it’s all on the computer ~ grades it and all for
me}. Zachary is still using Abeka, but the younger grades aren’t quite
as intense as the further you get in. Teaching Textbooks has been

Right now, the lowest grade level it starts with is 3rd grade, but we’ll
use it as long as we can at this point. Here’s a review I wrote about it:

Thank you for the post, I have ended up building my own curriculum for the mostpart, however it is hard to sometimes know which direction to turn when you see something not working for your kids. Especially when it is material that they have to learn….thank goodness for the internet!
