PreK and K Ideas Linking Up
Here are a few of the ideas that you all linked up this past week with the Preschool and Kindergarten Community.
Typically I am a ‘low-mess’ momma, so this shaving cream sensory play from Wildflower Ramblings would be a bit out of my comfort zone. I have a feeling though that all sorts of little ones would find it fun – especially if you can pull out that pool once the summer weather cools down and still use it!
If you are looking for some fun hands-on art ideas for preschoolers, be sure to visit School Time Snippets. She did a book study on the artist Alexander Calder and had a great bead and pipe cleaner project to go along with the book.
Everyone has a different preschool schedule, but it is always fun to see how others plan their time with their little ones. This week Fantastic Fun and Learning shared their daily routine.
Considering a Montessori approach to working with your little ones? Sorting Sprinkles shares the essentials of a Montessori toddler classroom.
Growing Merrily shares a fun alphabet activity to use with a foam floor mat called “Help the babies find their Mamas”. They incorporated some fun sensory time along with the activity – love it!
Blocks are something that can be found in most every home. Moms Have Questions Too shares a simple but helpful learning activity that includes measuring items found around the house with blocks.
Link up what you’ve been doing with your children this week and share! We’d love to see what you have been up to!
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board
Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!
Link Up with the Preschool and Kindergarten Community!
Share what you are doing with your kids! Please link your exact blog post to the Mr. Linky below and link back here too! Grab a button for your post below and be sure to take a minute to visit the person who linked up before you. You can read more in the updated guidelines for Preschool and Kindergarten Community. By linking up, you are granting permission for me to share your wonderful ideas and pictures with others in periodic show-and-tell posts.
Be specific in your ‘link title’. Leave either your blog name or theme and provide an age range for your activities. Something a little like this:
Police Officer Theme {ages 4-5}
