Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember.
The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
We have two kiddos that are in constant combat with each other. Their personalities are both so strong and similar that inevitably someone is bothering someone and I’m intervening. That’s why the picture below was such a happy moment for me this week.
Zachary really doesn’t like to read, but McKenna offered to sit down with him and let him read out loud to her from a book and PATIENTLY helped him sound out words and encouraged him as he read.
I seriously about cried because it just made my heart so happy…and don’t think that I’m not about ready to print this picture off and FRAME IT to remember the moment next time things go awry.

This is really sweet, Jolanthe. Moments like these make all the challenges truly pale in comparison.
On another note, when in the world did Zachary start looking so grown up?? I guess it’s been a while since I’ve seen a picture of him, wow…
I hope you and your family are having a wonderful time together celebrating this amazing time of year.
Zachary has grown up SO much lately…it’s a little frightening. The amount of food that child puts away is oddly fascinating. :) I hope you all are having a WONDERFUL time this Christmas season as well. You’ve been on my heart a LOT lately.
That just about made ME cry and I’m not even related. I would totally print that one off and frame it. Really. So sweet.
That is really sweet. We’ve got a moment this week too. Making a mural together.

That is gorgeous. I also bet it is a moment they both remember for awhile to come too.
When I see pictures like this it makes me wish our little boy had a brother or sister. Very sweet moment.
How precious and what a great memory! I’d be printing it off too!
