Ready for another week of linking up and sharing ideas? I am so glad that you are stopping by today (really, I am!) and can’t wait to see what you all have to share this week. Be sure to stop by our PreK & K Pinterest board to see a collection of the different posts we are pinning – including yours!
Don’t forget to link up a post or two of yours and share what you’ve been working on with your kids! Here are a few fun ideas from last week’s linkup.
Ping Pong Water Ball Game
You don’t need a fancy water table to do this activity, but you can work on both math and fine motor skills at the same time with the Ping Pong Math Game from Mom Inspired Life. Our kids love splashing in the water and this would be a great way to cool off in the summer and learn together.
Thunderstorm Craft
Weather crafts can be a little hard to think up. Books and Giggles has a really cute Puffy Paint Thunderstorm Craft that uses pipe cleaners and is a great addition to a weather unit.
Discover, Play, Engage, and Learn
Weekly activity guides for kids age 1 to 5 from Hands on As We Grow
Pull a Letter Load
This Letter Load game from Growing Book by Book is a great way to get your kids active and keep them learning at the same time. She spread letters around the yard, tied a basket to a rope, and sent the kids of on a letter hunt. Love it!
Squishy Bag CVC Words
Need a zero-mess FUN idea to work on letter formation or spelling with your kids? Try the Squish Bag CVC Words activity from Dabbling Momma.
Number Playdough Mats
Work on 1:1 counting correspondence with these FREE number playdough mats. They are super simple, and feature the numbers 1 through 20. Children also work on fine motor skills as they count.
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board
Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!
