For many of us, it was our first full week back in school – how did your week go? Finding the routine after time off can be tough, but it will get better, I promise. Here are a few ideas from the last Preschool and Kindergarten Community linkup – don’t forget to visit a few moms linking up today and leave a comment to encourage them too.
Don’t let cold weather keep your kids inactive! Still Playing School has indoor gross motor activities from A to Z that will keep your kids busy and active during the winter months.
This tin can snowman from Hands On As We Grow is amazingly cute! Jamie used larger tin cans and her turned out adorable! Wouldn’t some smaller ones, or even a snowman family be so much fun to make?
Working on CVC words with your kids, this simple idea using popsicle sticks, stamps, and a clothespin would make a great busy bag or travel idea. Visit Dabbling Momma to see her quick tutorial.
If one of your goals this year is to cut back on the whining, arguing, and complaining from your kids (and you too – I know how it is!), register now for this free parenting webinar with Positive Parenting Solutions. I’ll be hosting it on Tuesday, January 27th at 9pm and would love to have you there!
Follow the PreK and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board
Each week I am pinning many of your links onto the Preschool and Kindergarten Community Pinterest Board. I’m a visual person, so having pictures to help me remember posts is super helpful. Be sure to jump over and follow the board – and find some fun ideas at the same time!

I can’t wait to check out those indoor activities, my kids are going stir-crazy!
I hear ya!! And I have a feeling many of them will work for older kids too – I definitely plan to put them to use in our house!
Thank you so much for including our CVC words as part of your features this week!
You are most welcome, Susen – thanks for linking up with us!
